Veterinary professional recommends SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder

Dr VanVranken is a 1974 graduate of Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and the founder of Dickman Road Veterinary Clinic located in Battle Creek, Michigan. He has been using the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder on his two cats, Reuben and Charlie, to great effect.

Charlie had a problem with vomiting, which the Microchip Pet Feeder has solved. He also has three dogs, so the feeders are helping to keep the dogs out of the cats’ food. We got in touch with him to find out more.

Do your pets have any particular feeding habits?

Charlie and Reuben are both food motivated! They both think I would look better in a butler's uniform. They are very food driven. Both cats eat 12 to 20 meals each day. At one point, the dogs probably ate half of the cat food.

It is the only way to do a true elimination diet. Charlie has not vomited since we got the feeders.

How has the Microchip Pet Feeder helped in your situation?

We are not cleaning up cat vomit three to four times a week anymore.

How well did your pets take to the Microchip Pet Feeder?

The feeders frightened them at first, but they were fine once they got the hang of it.

Has the Microchip Pet Feeder helped you reduce the amount of pet food you waste and thus saved you money on pet food?

Yes, it has! It's a big deal for me.

Would you recommend the Microchip Pet Feeder to other pet-owning people?

Yes. It should be an accessory for every cat on a prescription pet food. The payback will be in about three months. Once you have a cat with special nutritional needs, you will find it gives pet owners peace of mind. That is what we sell at our veterinary practice - information and peace of mind.
