Why did you choose the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder?
Luna was signed up to a weight loss plan because she was obese. During the programme, the weight loss slowed because she was pinching the other cats’ food and as a solution the Microchip Pet Feeders were introduced to me.
How well did your pets take to the Microchip Pet Feeder?
Kyoko took a bit longer to get used to the feeders, and I had to slow the training process down for him, but I think this was mainly because he is a bit more wary.
What are your thoughts on the Microchip Pet Feeder?
Since having the feeders, Luna has continued to lose weight and I don’t think we would have got this far without them. It took a while for the cats to realise that they could go to the feeders whenever they wanted to eat, as they were used to being fed at certain times and often all the food would have been finished off by Luna!
Also, the feeders have helped stop Woody the dog from being able to pinch the cats’ food, which he managed to do on occasion, so they’ve helped to keep his weight down too.
The feeders are easy to clean, and I have only changed the batteries once since we started using them just over a year ago.

Yes, the feeders keep the food fresher and also stops flies laying eggs on the food in the summertime.
