Sure Petcare to show the latest products at Pet & Animal Expo, Wellington

Sure Petcare, the leading pet technology specialist, will be exhibiting the latest smart technology products designed to keep pets safe and well this summer, at the Pet & Animal Expo held at the Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua, on 17 and 18 November 2018.
For the last ten years, Sure Petcare have been designing microchip pet doors and feeders, designed to keep animals safe and food fresh in the summer months. Visitors to the Sure Petcare stand, #38, will get a chance to see the full range of doors and feeders, including the latest connected pet doors – the SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect and the SureFlap Microchip Cat Door Connect. Animo, the dog behaviour and activity monitor, and the latest addition to the Sure Petcare connected products ecosystem, will also be available to see close up.
Launched earlier on this year, the Microchip Cat Door Connect is the most advanced cat door ever and allows owners to lock or unlock the door from anywhere as well as set permissions for one or more cat, where if you have one cat that needs to be in the house and another can be allowed outside, the right cat has the right access from their smart phone or tablet. Used with the Sure Petcare app, owners can also monitor their pet’s behaviour, identifying changes in patterns for proactive pet care. Its standard size makes it a drop-in replacement for many existing cat doors, including the SureFlap Microchip Cat Door and DualScan Microchip Cat Door.
Animo dog behaviour and activity monitor, which is set to launch in November, offers a unique insight into a dog’s activity and behaviour, allowing owners to set activity goals, and have a unique view into their dog’s behaviour – used to help notify owners of any changes in behaviour, such as excessive scratching, shaking or barking. These behaviour changes can be an indication of an underlying issue or complaint.
