Pet & Animal Expo prize winner

Congratulations to Emma Monk, the winner of the Sure Petcare Pet & Animal Expo Christchurch competition.

Sure Petcare recently shared their latest products, including the SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect, to the visitors at the Christchurch Pet & Animal Expo, held at the Pioneer Stadium on 28 and 29 April 2018.

A competition to win a Sure Petcare product was run over the two days and Emma Monk was selected as the winner, with a prize of a SureFlap Microchip Cat Door for her cat Daphne.

Raewyn Carter, Sales and Operations Manager, Sure Petcare New Zealand said: “We always enjoy the Pet & Animal Expo as it gives us a great opportunity to share the latest in pet technology products to our pet owners that love their pets.  This year, we have included the SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect which is the world’s first app-controlled pet door, designed to make owners lives easier and increase the connection with their pets.”

She continued: “It is the start in a new range of connected products for Sure Petcare and we look forward to sharing the next products with our customers soon.”

Sure Petcare shared the SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect, which launched in January, at the show. The app-controlled pet door is the first of its kind and provides a deeper connection between owner and pet by providing long-term data that enables pet owners to recognise patterns in their pet’s behaviour, helping identify changes to support proactive pet care. Other features of the door include: locking and unlocking the door from anywhere, applying curfews and controlling access, and providing notifications of when the pet enters and leaves the home.

This signals the first in a range of connected products to be launched over the next 12 months.
